When I start a new project, I come up with a millions of ideas. Most of them don't pass the first sketching stages and even more are 'rejected' further down the track. I find it always difficult to let go of something, I am kind of hoping that all my concepts are going to work. But last week I read this 'true' quote: " A good design is not about what to add, it is about knowing how much to leave out...".
At the moment I am working on a project for the Southern Cross Packaging award and this drawing was one of my 'rejected' sketches. First I kind of liked it (even with the wrong proportions), but than I came up with better options and this drawing is now in my rejection pile.
